The Three Roller Coating Machine is a high-performance powder surface modification system designed for the continuous coating of ultra-fine mineral powders. It applies coating agents uniformly to powder particles, significantly improving dispersion, hydrophobicity, and compatibility with polymers, rubber, and coating systems.
Ideal for calcium carbonate, talc, and other industrial fillers, the Daswell Three Roller Coating Machine provides stable coating quality, precise dosing, and energy-efficient operation for large-scale industrial production.
The Daswell Three Roller Coating Machine is widely used for surface modification of various non-metallic mineral powders, including:
Calcium carbonate (GCC & PCC)
Talc
Limestone
Dolomite
Barite
Kaolin
Wollastonite
Magnesium hydroxide
Silica
Other industrial mineral fillers
The coated powders are widely used in:
Plastic compounds
Masterbatch production
Rubber products
Paints and coatings
Printing inks
Adhesives
Composite materials
Chemical fillers
The Three Roller Coating Machine performs a fully automated, continuous powder surface modification process.
Fine powder stored in the silo is delivered into the coating machine through a double-screw feeding system, ensuring stable and continuous material flow.
The coating agent is accurately measured by a metering system before entering the machine. If a solid coating agent such as stearic acid is used, a temperature-controlled heating unit melts it into liquid form for uniform application.
Inside the machine, three high-speed rotating rollers generate intense airflow, shear force, impact, and vortex mixing. The powder and liquid modifier are thoroughly dispersed and mixed within the modification chamber.
The coating agent is evenly distributed and firmly attached to the surface of each powder particle, producing highly uniform surface modification while maintaining the original particle shape.
The coated powder is continuously discharged from the system, supporting uninterrupted industrial production with consistent product quality.
