Why & How It Started
In late 2018, our founder Ahsan Nadeem was working as a freelancer, spending more than 15 hours a day in front of a computer. This long sedentary routine led to health issues such as eye strain, poor posture, and persistent back pain.
While searching for ergonomic solutions in Pakistan—especially a quality height-adjustable standing desk—he found that no suitable options were available locally.
This gap in the market inspired the idea of DEX. Ahsan realized that many professionals in Pakistan were likely facing the same challenges. In early 2019, he began contacting international manufacturers and testing different standing desk models. He initially started selling a basic version through OLX. From these small beginnings, he registered the domain dexx.pk, and the brand slowly began to grow.
