The PG Series Double Roller Sand Making Machine, also known as a Double-Roll Crusher or Double-Roll Mill, is a compact and efficient crushing machine designed for fine crushing and sand-making applications. It combines a specially engineered roller body with an ultra-wear-resistant alloy roller surface, providing long service life, reliable operation, low energy consumption, and convenient maintenance.
The PG Series is particularly suitable for processing brittle and tough materials in industries such as cement, building materials, metallurgy, chemicals, power generation, and coal mining.
Specially designed roller body: Provides a robust and reliable crushing structure for continuous operation.
Ultra-wear-resistant alloy roller surface: Improves wear resistance and extends roller service life.
Long service life: Replaceable roller working surfaces help reduce long-term maintenance costs.
Large crushing ratio: Efficiently reduces feed material into the required product size.
Adjustable discharge particle size: The roller gap can be adjusted according to production requirements.
Low energy consumption: Efficient double-roller crushing helps reduce operating energy requirements.
Low operating cost: Durable components and efficient operation contribute to economical production.
Compact structure: Small footprint makes the machine suitable for production facilities with limited installation space.
Low noise: The optimized mechanical structure supports comparatively quiet operation.
Reliable operation: Robust construction and automatic protection help improve operational stability.
Easy installation and maintenance: The compact design simplifies equipment installation, inspection, and servicing.
The PG Series Double Roller Crusher is suitable for fine crushing applications involving brittle and tough materials. It can be used in:
Cement production
Building materials
Refractory materials
Metallurgy
Chemical industries
Power generation
Coal mining
Sand-making applications
Mineral processing
It is particularly suitable for applications requiring high production output with relatively low requirements for particle shape.
The PG Series operates by feeding material through the inlet positioned between two counter-rotating rollers. As the material enters the crushing zone, the rollers apply compressive force to break it into smaller particles.
After crushing, the finished material is discharged naturally from the bottom of the machine. The adjustable roller gap allows operators to control the discharge particle size according to production requirements.
The rollers consist of a central roller core and replaceable roller walls. The roller walls are fitted onto the core and securely connected using a conical ring and bolts, providing a firm and stable assembly during operation.
The roller working surface is manufactured using a highly wear-resistant alloy to withstand continuous contact with abrasive feed material.
When the roller surface eventually becomes worn, the working roller wall can be replaced. This design allows the main roller structure to remain in service while the worn working surface is renewed, helping reduce maintenance costs and equipment downtime.
