The PVC-O Pipe Extrusion Line from GRACE is an advanced production system designed for manufacturing high-performance PVC-O (Biaxially Oriented PVC) pipes with superior strength, toughness, impact resistance, and long-term durability. Using innovative air-based in-line orientation technology, the system transforms conventional PVC-U pipes into highly engineered pressure pipes through controlled axial and radial molecular orientation.
PVC-O pipes offer outstanding mechanical performance compared with traditional PVC-U pipes, making them ideal for demanding applications such as high-pressure water supply, mining, irrigation, drainage, sewage, and gas distribution networks.
PVC-O pipe is produced from PVC-U pipe through a special orientation process that stretches the pipe in both axial and radial directions. This biaxial stretching reorganizes polymer molecules into an ordered mesh structure, significantly improving the pipe’s mechanical properties.
Superior impact resistance
Higher elasticity
Improved fatigue resistance
Better crack propagation resistance
Increased mechanical strength
Enhanced elastic modulus
Longer service life under high-pressure conditions
PVC-O pipes are widely used in:
High-pressure water supply systems
Mining transportation pipelines
Mountain area pipeline projects
Agricultural irrigation systems
Pressure drainage networks
Sewage treatment pipelines
Gas distribution systems
The PVC-O Pipe Extrusion Line complies with major international standards:
ISO 16422-2014
ANSI/AWWA C909-02
CSA B137.3.1-09
ABTN NBR 15750
IS 16647:2017
GB/T 41422-2022
GRACE’s innovative PVC-O technology uses an air-based in-line orientation process to provide a flexible, efficient, and reliable manufacturing solution.
Maximum production capacity reaches 750 kg/h for 450–630 mm pipes
Continuous online production reduces downtime and mold changes
High-efficiency manufacturing meets large-scale production requirements
