Farmate Development History
2001 – Company Founded
In February 2001, Taizhou Sunny Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd. was established in Hengjie Town, Luqiao District, Taizhou City, China. The company launched its Farmate brand and began building its presence in the agricultural machinery industry.
2002 – Focus on Plant Protection Machinery
Farmate established its long-term development strategy around agricultural and forestry plant protection machinery, with overseas markets becoming a major focus for business growth.
2003 – International Expansion
The company's sales reached RMB 51.8 million, while Farmate products were exported to more than 50 countries and regions.
2004 – Factory Expansion
Farmate began construction of a new factory in Hengjie Development Zone. The company was recognized as an Advanced Export Enterprise in Luqiao District and received several regional business honors. Annual sales reached RMB 84.31 million.
2005 – New Production Facility
In October 2005, the company moved to a new factory in the Hengjie Town Development Zone, Luqiao District, Taizhou. Farmate was recognized as a Science and Technology SME in Zhejiang Province and a High-Tech Enterprise in Taizhou. Annual sales increased to RMB 108.75 million.
2006 – Quality Certification & Global Growth
Farmate became one of the first companies in the industry to achieve ISO 9001-2000 and 3C certifications. Annual sales reached RMB 156.78 million, with products exported to more than 100 countries and regions.
2007 – Further Manufacturing Expansion
To support rapid business growth, Farmate established another manufacturing facility in the Luqiao Economic Development Zone.
2010–2013 – Continued Growth & Recognition
During this period, the company received several prestigious honors, including recognition as a Zhejiang High-Tech Enterprise, Zhejiang Agricultural Science and Technology Enterprise, Zhejiang Patent Demonstration Enterprise, and other business and export-related awards.
The company's output value exceeded RMB 200 million for eight consecutive years.
