Etched Stainless Steel Sheet

The patterns on etched stainless steel sheets are created using an electrochemical process. A protective, acid-resistant film is applied to certain areas of the metal surface, leaving the exposed sections unprotected. The unprotected areas are then treated with acid, which removes a thin layer of metal, producing a matte, textured finish, while the covered sections remain smooth and retain their original appearance. Optional coloring can be applied to the protected or etched areas, either before or after the etching process, to enhance the contrast and achieve a specific decorative effect.
